Summer myPISD access - Because your Pinnacle-generated classes will no longer exist once school is out, you will not be able to work in myPISD over the summer with the same classes you’ve been using. However, it is still possible for you to create or edit properties that will be available to you when you come back to school in the fall. This guide will help you work with properties to prepare for next school year.

User's Guide (includes bulletin board, eLFs, events calendar, files box and sharing)

Property Quick Guides
  • Class Page - used to create a class page for the library, a club or an administrator's page for teachers and staff.
  • Discussion Room - real-time online discussions moderated by the teacher
  • Feed Reader - RSS - allows you to view an RSS 2.0 or Atom 1.0 feed.
  • Forum - students can participate in a password-protected blog on a variety of subjects. (The nature of this property requires setting up sharing rules for each of your students.)
  • Frequently Asked Questions - create a searchable list of questions and answers
  • Image - displays a GIF or JPG image
  • Journal - personal or collaborative online journal
  • Text and Image Area - add a paragraph of information, a bulleted list, a picture, a hyperlink, or any combination thereof
  • Simple Templates - offers a range of templates for creating informative Properties. Each template provides a different layout for your Property’s content, and may contain a combination of text, images, and hyperlinks.
  • Vote For - invite the students in your class to vote on a question, suggestion or idea
