Combining HyperStudio via a plug-in with Netscape
What Java hopes to be!
This page shows the power of combining the concept of frames in Netscape with the HyperStudio plug-in. The stack appearing in the upper left frame is a working calculator (try it!) via HyperLogo that loads automatically due to the html code on this page.
The lower left frame contains a GIF graphic, while the three frames on the right are simple html files to show some independence of color, size and other page attributes.
The techniques used here allow a person with a little HTML expertise to put together a variety of interactive Web pages using the power of HyperStudio along with the resources of the Internet.
For more information, you might want to visit the HyperStudio Realtime page. For more samples using the HyperStudio plug-in for Netscape, visit the "HyperPlugged Page". Be sure to leave a message for Jim Hirsch to let him know what you think of this idea!
