This page showcases extraordinary Frankford
students. There are numerous ways to be selected as Frankford Finest.
For example, the student may have recently made significant achievements
in school work, raised money for the needy and unfortunate, voluntarily
served their community, performed remarkably in an athletic event, and
the like. |

Assistant Fire Marshall Award: Alex Stack for being the Fire Drill Assistant to Mr. Winkler. Predator Team: Alex Thompson
is a wonderful example of Frankford's finest. She always has a bubbly
personality, and is always willing to go the extra mile. Besides being
amazingly funny, she is also a great athlete! Gyrfalcons: Mashaal Ali is always
on task doing the right thing. When absent she always request her work.
Polite student. Theater-Speech: Theatre/Speech nominated
Jennifer Kurkowski this six weeks for her dedication and wonderful attitude
toward the program and toward other students. Jennifer was chosen as the
understudy for the lead in the one act play, Up the Down Staircase. She
took that job very seriously by memorizing all the lines, coming to extra
practices, and working on in-depth character studies for that role. This
is especially impressive given the fact that she never got to show an
audience the work she had done. Being an understudy is such a thankless
job, and I wanted to find a moment for her to shine. She truly shows this
kind of dedication to everything she does in Theatre and Speech. ESL: Itzel Aradillas - ESL - has only been
in the US 1½ years and does a great job speaking English! Screaming Eagles: Kevin Sharma is a great
student that always works hard and goes above and beyond in the classroom.
He is in Math Counts and Jazz Band. And he makes a mean chocolate cake!! Orchestra: Ellie Ballent is a sixth grade violist in the intermediate orchestra. She is a very hard working student. She is very talented and works well with her peers. Ellie always has a ready smile on her face and is very engaged in the daily lesson. Adventurer Team: Spencer Nauta is a delight
to have in class. He is a hard worker and determined individual. He always
comes to class prepared and anxious to learn. He never complains and will
work with any student or group of students you put him with. His teachers
appreciate his efforts and his positive attitude. Pioneers: The Pioneer Team is
pleased to recognize Niveta Subbiah as their Frankford's Finest. Niveta
sets high goals for herself and strives diligently to attain them. The
teachers appreciate her maturity and positive attitude. Niveta is kind
and helpful to students and teachers alike. Congratulations to Niveta
on this outstanding achievement. Art: Casie and Brooke Ramsier are an absolute
joy to have in my classroom. They come in everyday with a smile and are
full of energy. They are both always on task, working extremely hard on
each and every project, and are also very artistic and creative. Their
artistic talent has really blown me away. Casie and Brooke definitely
both deserve the title of Frankford's Finest! PE: Anurag Andoji is a very polite, responsible
young man. He enjoys competing in the activities and always "goes
the extra mile" in Fitness Runs. I appreciate his respectful interaction
with his peers and teachers. Technology Education: Darren McClelland-Urbanski
is a wonderful young person who is honest and kind. He exhibits courtesy
to his fellow students and teachers. He is a joy to have in class. Darren
is going to be a success in whatever career he selects. Samantha or Sam as we call her is the hardest working athlete
in 8th grade athletics. She is a serious competitor and works hard to
achieve her goals. She, too, is very self-motivated and, in her own quiet
way, contributes to the team every time she competes. Choir: Hannah Oran is an outstanding member
of 6th Grade Choir and of our 6th grade honor choir. We appreciate that
she is always enthusiastic, focused, and positive during rehearsals. She
is a consensus-builder among her peers. She is a quiet but effective leader,
as well as a very talented musician. She is a pleasure to have in choir!
