2013-2014 Course Selections
This year instead of sending out letters that include the courses your students have elected to take, we have moved this process on-line. You will need to log into your parent portal account located at https://parentviewer.pisd.edu/.
After you log in, click on your student's name in the student registration box. This will take you to another screen that will allow you to click on a button titled, "Show 2013-2014 course requests". When you click on this button, it will show the courses currently listed for your student's course requests for the 2013-2014 school year. This is only a list of course requests, not the schedule or order of classes. We cannot guarantee that all electives will be available at the correct times once the master schedule is completed so alternates may appear on the final schedule in August.
If your student needs to change a course request, please print this page. Draw a line through the course(s) to be dropped, and write in the course(s) to be added. Please add a parent signature and telephone number at the bottom of the course request, and return to your child's CURRENT counselor by JUNE 7th. If the course requests are listed correctly, you do not need to return anything to the school. Due to the volume of schedule change requests we receive, we cannot confirm changes. Changes will be reflected on the student's schedule to be posted on Parent Portal in mid-August.
Below you will see a link to two documents that list current 10th and 11th grade courses. Please refer to these documents for the most current courses being offered. Elective offerings for the upcoming school year may continue to change up until schedules become available on parent portal in mid-August.
