Hello!
My name is Amanda Watson. I am a graduate of Baylor University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am certified in General Ed (K-8) and Special Ed (Ages 0-21). My Masters degree is from Texas Woman’s University where I specialized in Assessment-Diagnostician. This is my twelfth year teaching. I spent my first two years in Garland ISD. I have been in Plano for 10 years. I have taught both in the general education classroom and special education settings.
I have an older sister who is also a teacher in Plano. I have two younger brothers as well. I have been married for six years (in September) to James. We live in Murphy and have two little ones. Avery just turned four in June and Luke will be three in January. We have a dog named Sonny who helps clean up the mess that Avery and Luke leave on the floor after their meals! We also have one more addition coming to our family in March!
I am excited to work with such great parents and teachers here at Wells. I’m looking forward to a great year!
