Carol Jones

I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B. S. degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Mathematics.  In addition, I have 22 hours in Counseling and Guidance from Texas Woman’s University. 

My family includes my husband, Tony, three children, Amy, Corbin, and Rebecca, one son-in-law, Chris, a cat named Snickers, and a Boxer named Doodles.  I have taught every grade at Wells except kindergarten and first grade. 

I enjoy being with my family, taking walks, and reading.  I believe I am the second most important person in my students’ lives, so I keep their best interests in focus at all times.  My goal is for them to have every opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, and academically toward their maximum potential and still have FUN!

My favorite quote comes from Henry Adams.  “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
