"Hundreds of Plano ISD parents, teachers, business and civic leaders serve on School Based Improvement Councils (SBIC) on each of the district's 50+ school campuses. SBIC committees include representatives from the business community who work shoulder to shoulder with teachers and parents and other community members analyzing student test data and developing goals which will positively affect student achievement."
