Michele Austin graduated from Baylor University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education specializing in English. She began her career teaching sixth grade in Allen, Texas for three years. Michele then joined the PISD and Beverly teams in 1998, teaching fifth grade for two years. Having taken a year sabbatical, Mrs. Austin returned to Beverly to teach fourth grade. The following year, Michele began the position of third grader teacher/team leader. She taught third grade for two years before transitioning to the position of school counselor at Beverly.  Mrs. Austin graduated with her master’s degree in school counseling from Dallas Baptist University in May of 2005. Michele lives in Allen with her husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful children.
