Nurse Smith attended Grand View College in Iowa, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She has worked at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, and Medical Center of Plano as a Cardiac Nurse, before joining the staff at Beverly Elementary in 2004. Since she has 2 children that were lucky enough to be Beverly Bobcats, Nurse Smith is proud to work with such a dedicated staff. The favorite part of her job teaching and then watching the students learn to be "Pawsitively Healthy" by balancing good nutrition, lots of activity and the right amount of sleep.
