Miss Park graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma
in 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
She taught fourth grade and third grade in the Midwest City/Del City School
District in Oklahoma for 4 years before coming to Beverly in 2001. She
is very excited and is thankful to be a part of the Beverly Bobcat family.

Laura Schnitzer attended school in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1985. She received her Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special Education at Stephen F. Austin State University and later received a Master’s in Reading from Texas A & M University- Commerce. She also has her certification in ESL and has taught in a bilingual classroom. Before having children, Laura taught in the Richardson ISD for five years working with children with learning disabilities. After being away from teaching, she came back to Plano ISD in 2005. Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Larry and her two wonderful children, Jacob and Jessie. She is thrilled to be at Beverly Elementary.

Beverly Elementary Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. O’Kelley graduated from the University
of Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Learning and Development.
She earned her Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization
in Gifted and Talented from the University of North Texas. Having attended
Plano schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade herself, she returned
home to teach first grade at Barron Elementary for 5 years. She has been
at Beverly since it opened in 1998 and has taught kindergarten and second
grade. Mrs. O'Kelley lives in Plano with her husband, Steve, and her two
children. Her philosophy is to instill the love of learning in each child
so that every child can be successful.
Hue Tran

Mrs. Tran is a 2005 graduate of the University of Texas of Dallas with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Child Development. Shortly after graduating she decided to extend her interest in child development and returned to UTD to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. She felt that with a good sense of humor and a genuine care for children, she could truly devote herself to a career in teaching. She is delighted to be a member of the Beverly family and a part of the Plano district. Mrs. Tran personally believes that there is hardly anything more meaningful than sparking a positive and effective influence in a child's life.
Shannon White

Shannon Marie White received her Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration from Chico State University with an emphasis in Business
Management. She holds a certification in Elementary Education with
Cultural Language and Development Emphasis obtained from Pacific Union
College in Angwin, California. She has two years of teaching experience
in California schools and began her teaching career with P.I.S.D. in the
2005-2006 school year. Prior to that, she served as both a ParaEducator
and Substitute Teacher for various public schools in Sonoma County California.
She was raised in Houston,Texas where her sister and nephews still reside
but has spent the last 18 years in Northern California. She recently returned
to the Dallas area to be closer to family. She is still
more of a country girl at heart! She currently resides in McKinney, Texas
and is very happy to be back in The Lone Star State and working with the
P.I.S.D. students at Beverly.

Miss Lisell is a graduate of Texas Tech University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She attended Plano schools for 3rd - 12th grade and was excited to return to Plano to teach. Miss Lisell taught second grade at Wyatt Elementary for 3 years before coming to Beverly. She is thrilled to now be a part of the Beverly team! |
