I grew up in Plano and still live here! I began school in Plano as part of the preschool program at Plano Senior High School. I went on to attend Saigling Elementary, Haggard Middle School, Shepton High School, and then graduated from Plano Senior High School. I received my teaching degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Go Longhorns! In December, 2001, I received my Masters in Education degree from the University of North Texas. I did my student teaching in Austin, Texas at Eanes Elementary in Eanes ISD.
I have been teaching since 1996 and absolutely love teaching third grade at Beverly Elementary. I was lucky enough to help open Beverly and can’t think of a better place to teach. When I am not planning, teaching, or grading, I enjoy reading, cooking, and playing amateur photographer. I am a little over attached to my computer and there are days I feel I may need a “Google” intervention! I am looking forward to a fabulous 3rd grade year!

I grew up in Russellville, Arkansas. I received my degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. This is where I met my wonderful husband Scott. We were married in 1990. We have two beautiful daughters, Katelyn and Morgan. Katelyn is a senior at Plano East (Go Panthers) where she is a Senior Lieutenant on the Golden Girls drill team. Morgan is a 9th grader at Clark High School.
I began my teaching career in the fall of 2005. Before coming to Beverly, I taught pre-k in a private preschool for 8 years. I then spent 3 years as a substitute teacher at Beverly. I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade! This truly is the best school in Plano. I would not be teaching anywhere else.
Outside of school my daughters take up most of my time. Morgan is a member of the Elite Company at Prodigy Dance Center, where she spends many hours dancing each week. Dance takes up much of Katelyn’s time as well as being a member of the drill team and taking private lessons at Prodigy. As you can see I spend a lot of time at the dance studio and competitions. I am an active member of the Golden Girls SideKicks Booster Club which keeps me busy fundraising and doing whatever else needs to be done to keep the girls dancing. I also enjoy reading, watching sports (New York Yankees, Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys, and the Stars), being active in my church, spending time with friends, and traveling with my family.

I want to start off by expressing how excited I am to be back at Beverly for my fifth year in 3rd grade. I grew up in Richardson, Texas and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce. My teaching experience includes teaching kindergarten in McKinney ISD and second grade in Greenville ISD.
I have been married for twenty-four years to my husband, Wade, and we have two beautiful children. My daughter, Jordan is married and lives in Virginia, and my son, Zachary, is going to be in the eleventh grade at Plano West High School. In my spare time I enjoy watching reality TV, reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. I am looking forward to being part of your child’s educational journey this year, and I know we are going to have a great year. 3rd grade ROCKS!!! Go Bobcats!

Hi everyone!!! My name is Tracy Beauchamp and I am so excited for my fifth year at Beverly Elementary. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated in 1995 from the University of North Texas with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. Although I began working towards a degree in education I soon changed my direction to psychology because I was interested in working with troubled youth. I worked for the Texas Youth Commission helping troubled teens for a little over a year and though it was a challenging job I enjoyed the work. I was then offered a position with Dallas County Adult Probation and worked for them 11 ½ years. I helped young adults and adults earn their GED, I taught health classes as well as a program called “Thinking for a Change” (an intrinsic behavior modification program). Being a probation officer gave me invaluable experience with a very diverse group of people and allowed me to empower many, many people over the years. One of the best aspects of being a probation officer was the flexible scheduled that allowed me to stay home with my girls most of the week. Although I loved being a probation officer I have always know in my heart that I should be an elementary school teacher!
I have two girls Makenna, 11, and Callie, 9, who are my pride and joy! I absolutely adore being a mother and would not trade it for anything. They truly make my heart smile every day! J My philosophy as a teacher (and as a parent) is to empower my students and show them they can achieve any goal set before them. My favorite sayings are “Smile….it is much easier than frowning!!” (We certainly do a lot of smiling in my classroom) and “Never take more than you can give.” I try to live by these sayings every day. My goals for my students are to leave school feeling great about themselves, their accomplishments and loving school! J I look forward to being a part of your child’s life, and I know we are going to have an amazing year!!!
