Dear Parents:

We want to welcome new families to Boggess, and as a reminder to those returning, we would like to state the following safety procedures.

Supervision is provided for our students starting at 7:15 in the morning until 3:15 in the afternoon

Upon entering the building, we require all visitors to sign in at the front office and obtain a visitor's badge. Our front doors open to students at 7:15 am each morning. For safety reasons during morning arrival, we ask that all our students enter either through the Library door on the north side or the front door on the south side of the building. Our west side doors by the gym will be locked at all times. When leaving our building at any time, we ask that you use the front doors to exit the building.

Our goal is to start each day promptly at 7:45 am with all children in their seats ready to learn. In order to meet this goal, we are asking that you allow your child to exhibit his or her ability to enter the grade level area independently on their own and to display their responsibility by taking care of their belongings. How proud each child will feel! We have staff members placed in our hallways to help your children arrive safely to their respective classroom.

We ask that you use caution in the car pool lines and watch for children who may be walking to and from school.

* For the safety of all children, please leave all pets at home.
