Recycle! Recycle! Recycle!

Thank you to all of the environmentally conscience donors who have already placed your recyclable material into the green Benny Bengal box located between the two front doors of the school! We are off to a great start. Donating your old cell phones, CDs, inkjet and laser toner cartridges provides 3 benefits:

1. It help you clean out your homes, offices, workrooms, classrooms, libraries, etc."

2. It helps our environment

3. It provides a no-cost way for you to help our school earn
money.
With those thoughts in mind, why not empty out your drawers and desks today?
Benny thanks you for your support!!!

Birthdays

Birthdays will be recognized at Boggess in very special ways. Students will receive birthday pencils when Mr. Speck makes a special visit to their classrooms. Birthdays will also be announced every morning on the Boggess Bengal Network (BBN).

Parents may also help their child's birthday be recognized. Treats may be sent to school. The following list suggests possible treats which will help teachers maximize an educational climate in their classrooms:
* Cookies
* healthy snacks
*stickers/pencils/bookmarks
* small trinkets

Please refrain from sending cakes, cupcakes, ice cream or drinks. Parents are encouraged to be sensitive to student allergies. Peanut butter and nuts are examples of foods which may cause reactions. Treats will be shared in the afternoons.
