Calling All Volunteers!!!

What a wonderful and amazing year it has been. We so appreciate all of the time and energy you have put into making your child's school year a success. Even as the year is coming to a close, we are already preparing for the 2007-2008 school year. We are hoping you will decide to return next year as a volunteer at Boggess. To volunteer on any PISD campus, a Volunteer Application has to be filled out and you can do this very simply online!

After July 1, 2007, you can renew your application by going to Plano ISD web site at www.pisd.edu. Once on the Home page click on "Volunteer Application" and follow the instructions given on the application page. Please be sure to read the instructions carefully. Also, note that you will be given the opportunity to print a "Notary Form" when you get to the end of the application. This is a required form to complete your application. Please return this form, signed and notarized to the office at Boggess.
If you do not have computer access, you may go to the Human Resources department at the Plano ISD Administration Building at 2700 W. 15th St. in Plano or to any of the libraries in the city of Plano.
Thank you, again, for all your work this year. We are looking forward to another great year. Remember, a new application must be filled out each year. If you have any questions, feel free to contact: Amy Deans, Volunteers VP at a_deans@comcast.net or call 972-384-1111

Don't Forget to recycle inkjet and laser toner cartridges and old cell phones to the Boggess Recycling Program. There is a green box with Benny Bengal on it between the 2 front doors to drop off your items.

Keep turning in your Box Tops and Soup Labels!
Please collect and place your Box Tops and Soup Labels in the two containers between the two sets of front doors. You're helping to raise money for our school!

If you have any questions about the Box Tops for Education program, please contact our Box Tops coordinator, Julia Baldwin at julia_baldwin@verizon.net
