The University of Boggess Bookstore is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 7:15 - 7:30. They have pens, pencils, locker mirrors and more.
Most items cost under two dollars. The store helps raise money for
field trips and assemblies. I think I’m going shopping at
the bookstore!
Kindergarteners learned how plants are part of a system when they
visited the Arboretum. On 10/26 they dressed up 50’s style
to celebrate the 50th day of school.
1st Grade performed a Thanksgiving play on 10/17. They worked extra
hard and we congratulate them on their success - we’ll always
remember “Super Turkey!”
2nd Grade is learning about animals and their habitats. They are
making habitat boxes and will display them at school. We hope you
will come see them.
3rd Grade visited Heritage Farmstead to study how early Plano residents
lived. They learned that children worked hard helping their families
before they got to play with toys that were usually homemade.
Fourth Grade went on a field trip to the Outdoor Learning Center
where we learned about living and non-living plants and animals.
We will be going to the Arboretum on 10/31. We have started learning
about Texas’ four regions and will be making an artifact for
our 4th grade museum.
5th Grade is preparing to go to the Collin County Adventure Camp
or Camp Boggess November 27th - 29th. We are studying biomes around
us and will get to explore them more at our camp. Congratulations
to 15 choir students who were recently selected to participate in
MCC and PCC.
