Bowman Middle School is fortunate to be one of the few middle schools in Plano to offer French as an elective. Successful completion of the two-year program (7th and 8th grade) earns the student a high school credit.

Our new French curriculum is oral-proficiency oriented which gives the students an opportunity to have fun using the language.

We also have a very active French Club which gives students an extra opportunity to use the language and to learn more about the culture.

Starting their foreign language education early allows students to learn the basics slowly while providing a firm foundation for further growth of their language skills.
