Join the Bowman PTA
The Bowman PTA invites you to join with us to make a difference in the education, health and welfare of our children. Annual dues are only $10.00 per person. That is such a little amount considering all the big things we want our children to achieve.
By becoming a member of the Bowman PTA you will gain voting privileges at the regular PTA meetings as well as membership in the Texas and National PTAs. You will also help provide for socials, field trips, and services not covered by the school’s budget.
Here is the breakdown of the $10.00:
$1.25 goes to the State of Texas PTA
$1.75 goes to the National PTA
$7.00 stays here at Bowman in the PTA budget
Membership forms are available in the school lobby. Simply fill it out and return the form with the PTA dues to the front office or have your child give it to their teacher. If you have already joined, THANK YOU!

Volunteer at Bowman
Is a PTA board position more than you can commit to? There are plenty of other ways you can contribute at Bowman. These jobs are weekly, monthy or just once or twice a year. It ALL helps our kids!

Assistance needed in these areas:
– Baking/Food Donations
– Book Fair
– Copying (weekly, monthly)
– Eighth Grade Party
– Field Trip Chaperone
– Library
– Newsletter Mailing (1-5 times/year)
– Office Help
– PTA Activities (schedule pick-up, first day of school, etc.)
– Socials Chaperone
– Spirit Store
– Teacher Appreciation
– Translator (indicate language)
