Jennifer Pate • Speech

Jennifer Pate grew up in Nederland, TX. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorder from the University of Texas at Dallas, Callier Center. Before joining the Dooley staff in August 2003, she worked as a speech-language pathologist in Lewisville ISD.

Cassie Snider

Cassie Snider graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She has certification in Special Education and General Education. She been a part of the Dooley Staff for four years.

Jennie Hogg

I am a proud graduate of Baylor University! This is my second year to teach special education. Last year I worked in a behavior unit at Hendrick Middle school. Before I became a teacher I worked for Lubbock ISD as an Autism consultant. I went through the Region 10 Alternative Teaching Program 2 years ago. I am originally from Lubbock. I am married to my husband Matt and we have a beautiful daughter, Madilyn Kay, who is 8 months old. I love to mosaic, watch Wheel of Fortune, drink coffee and eat Reduced Fat Cheese Its!

David Houk • Team Leader

David Houk received his B.A. and teaching certification from Midwestern State University. He taught general education for 6 years in Plano prior to joining the special education team at Dooley in 2004.

Elsie Chavez

Elsie is a graduate of a College in Monterrey, Mexico. She has worked at Dooley for 6 years. She is very athletic and loves volleyball.

Marlon Bobbitt


We are responsible for providing each student with individualized instruction. Each student in the special education department is individually assessed and offered a specialized program based on individual need. The desire of each special education teacher is that what each student will be allowed to experience high levels of success, educationally and socially.
