Robin Williams is excited to be returning as principal at Rose Haggar Elementary, but even more excited that she will become Mrs. Robin Garcia at the end of December and honeymoon in Alaska! Previously, she was a classroom teacher and counselor at Thomas Elementary. Prior to Plano ISD she worked as an eighth grade classroom teacher in Arlington ISD.

Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from East Texas State University, an Elementary Education Certification with a specialization in Reading as well as a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce, and Mid-Management Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Welcome to Rose Mary Haggar Elementary, home of the Haggar Mariners! Haggar Elementary has been recognized by the Texas Education Agency accountability system as an Exemplary School, nine out of the ten years of existence. Our school continues to strive toward excellent student achievement in a positive and caring environment.

At Haggar, children come first! We have an excellent curriculum and a very professional staff. As you will see by the other links to this web page, we have many programs in place to help meet the individual needs of students. Children have fun while learning at Haggar. Walking into the classrooms, you will see a variety of activities by students using the latest in technology and other resources. They learn to work together while setting academic goals for personal challenge.

Parents take an active and necessary role in the life of Haggar Elementary. Volunteers are welcomed each day to support our learning environment! Their support ranges from clerical duties, artistic enhancements, and helping teachers with many activities. Our PTA provides extensive opportunities for participation in the school. They sponsor parent training, student programs, staff development grants, entertainment, and soliciting funds to purchase materials which enhance our building and instructional programs. Our Dad's Club is considered to be a model for the district. During their first three years of operation, they have provided free programs for family outings and serve an inexpensive, yet delicious spaghetti supper to our families on Open House Night. At least once each six weeks, they sponsor Dad's Lunch Day. It is not unusual to have 200 fathers show up at school for lunch. A dream of both the Dad's Club and the school was completion of a little league style baseball field on the school property. The Rose Mary Haggar Field of Dreams was dedicated with members of the Rose Mary Haggar family present in 1997.
