2008 BOND PROPOSAL
On May 10th, 2008, Plano ISD citizens will be asked to vote in a very important school district bond election, a $490 million proposal which contains dollars to be spent at every campus. The bond proposal includes a Fine Arts addition for Haggard MS. You are invited to learn more about this important bond election by reading the information on our website (www.pisd.edu/2008bond) and by attending a meeting regarding the bond election here at Haggard on Thursday, April 24th at 3:45 p.m. in the HMS cafeteria. Dr. Doug Otto will be our guest speaker.

Please note that you will be asked to provide a valid photo ID when checking in to the front office as a visitor or a volunteer. In accordance with PISD policy, the V-soft security system has been implemented to assist us in protecting our student environment.

CONGRATULATIONS CORNER:

State Science Fair Awards: 1st Place - Mathematics - Jeffrey Doucette 1st Place - Devin Guthrie - Earth Science Two Haggard students - both placed 1st at State competition - a first for Haggard! Congrats to these students and their teachers - Mrs. Diane Brown and Mrs. Libby Griffin.
Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf won 1st Place in the Math Counts Contest at The National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, NY led by Pauline Decker.
