Welcome to Hedgcoxe Elementary’s website.
I hope you find our site helpful and that you are able to
get a glimpse of our outstanding campus. We currently have
an enrollment of approximately 530 students. Our school motto
is: “Take care of yourself. Take care of each other.
Take care of Hedgcoxe.” Our goal for all students is
to provide a safe, student-centered environment where children
can grow socially and academically. We always welcome new
friends and new faces, so please be encouraged to join our
family. The students, parents and staff truly feel a positive
connection that creates an atmosphere of enthusiasm in our
building. This connection makes it easy to continue our goals
of having high expectations, working together for our common
goals and creating the best environment for our students.
Volunteers are an integral part of our educational
program. Parents are always welcomed and are constantly active
working in our school. PTA provides numerous opportunities
for support and involvement. Many people assume that we have
all the volunteers we need; however, we constantly have new
ideas for projects and activities and need new volunteers
throughout the year. Please join our team. We love our volunteers!
Karen Spillman is our volunteer coordinator this year. She
