Bachelor's degree from University of North Texas, Master's degree in
Elementary Education Reading from Texas Woman's University. I attended
PISD Schools K-12 and graduated from Plano East in 1988.

Family:
I have a 11-year-old son, Nicholas.
Interests/Hobbies:
I enjoy needlepoint, gardening, cooking, and I am an avid reader. One
of my very favorite things to do is travel.
Thus far, I have been to South Korea, England, Scotland, and Hawaii, as
well as numerous states in the continental U.S.
Interesting fact
about me: I worked with emotionally disturbed children
for 3 years before deciding to become a teacher.

6 years in education as a third grade teacher.
Family: It's just
my mother and I. I am an only child with three best
friends who are also the only child. We claim each other as
sisters.
Interests/Hobbies:
I love suspense movies and books! Dallas Mavericks
or Dallas Cowboy games is where you can find me during basketball and
football season. I also am an active member of Delta Sigma Theta
Sorority, Inc. I love my sorority!
Interesting fact about me:
While my mother has been all over the world,
I am on the other hand, afraid to fly. I did not attend my high school
senior trip because I would not get on the airplane. This summer I am
going to Hawaii and it will be the first time I will fly!
Collections: Elephants
with the trunk raised. They are supposed to
bring good luck when the trunk is raised! I try not to collect too much
because I am allergic to clutter.
