Family: I have 3 wonderful children (one
is my daughter-in-law) and a fabulous 2 year old grandson
who live in the area. In addition, I have a standard poodle who takes
wonderful care of me
Interests/Hobbies: For leisure activities I enjoy
bicycling, hiking, boating, swimming, reading and cooking..
Collections: I am addicted to books, chocolate, and

Years in Education: This is my 5th
year teaching in
elementary schools. I’ve also taught as an adjunct professor in
reading
education.
Family: After 24 years apart, I
recently married my
college sweetheart, Gene. I am the proud stepmother to three wonderful
kids.
Jacob is 21 years old and a PFC in the Army. He
will be deployed to Iraq
in October of this year. Beautiful
Rachel is an 18 year old freshman majoring in nursing at Midwestern State University. Our youngest, Ben, is 7 years old and has
joined us this year as a second grade Hedgcoxe Hurricane!
Interests/Hobbies: My passion is
reading, especially
children’s books. I also love cooking, traveling, and working
with tools.
Interesting fact about me: While
I’m a native Texan,
I was raised in the Big Sky Country, Montana.
Collections: Children’s books
(especially
nonfiction, novels, and poetry), Starbucks, and penguins.

Tiffany Samuel

Organizational Behavior from Fresno Pacific
University.
Years in Education:
Seven years working in private education for various Christian
organizations and four years in public schools in both
California and Texas.
Family: I have my
sweetheart-of-a-husband, Dwight Samuel, Sr., to whom I’ve been
married to for almost six years. Together we have an
adorable four-year-old son named Dwight “ChooChoo” Samuel,
Jr.
Interests/Hobbies:
My interests have evolved this year to concentrate on writing and
research. I am writing a book and continuing to work on song lyrics and
poetry.
Interesting fact about me:
I am a Gospel recording artist and have
performed many times in California. I went slingshot bungee jumping but
would NEVER do it again!
What I Like: I
enjoy going to the movies, or a night out on the town with my husband
and son. I love to shop, so gift certificates are PERFECT!

in Interdisciplinary Studies Texas
certified EC-4. I taught in Private
Schools for 8 years before returning to finish my degree at Texas
Woman’s
University. I had the pleasure of
doing
my student teaching at Hedgcoxe and feel so privileged to be teaching
with such
a wonderful team and working daily with such a caring staff of people. I am truly home.
Family: I
have been married to James Poole, a
Principle Software Engineer with Raytheon Systems; for 21 years and we
are the
proud parents of two wonderful children and one fabulous daughter - in
-
law.
Our
son, Nicholas is United
States Army (currently deployed to Iraq
with the 82nd Airborne) and is stationed with his wife
Victorya at Ft. Bragg,
NC. Our daughter, Allyson is a college freshman
studying nursing and spends free time with friends, shopping and
babysitting. We are also proud parents
of two four legged “children”. Barney
is
our Chihuahua
mix and Buddy is our toy poodle.
Interests: When
I am not teaching I enjoy traveling,
reading, and various craft projects. I
especially enjoy spending time with my family.
Interesting Facts: Having two siblings in law
enforcement would probably persuade me to work as a Crime Scene
Investigator if
I did not follow my first love of teaching.
Collections:
I love candles
(but I don’t
care for the floral scented ones). I
also collect gift cards to Wal- Mart, Target or any teacher store, to
help me
to stay organized as well as restaurant, and generic Visa or American
Express
cards to relax and unwind. Being an Army
Mom I also love any kind of patriotic collectibles.
