Destination Imagination

This is a problem solving competition, a selected problem to solve and
an instant challenge, open to anyone.
FCA
Jenny Doherty
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a Christ-centered, Bible-based
ministry. FCA meetings are student led and usually include a lesson,
game, and discussion/prayer time.
Geography Bee

The Geography Bee is a competition, similar to the Spelling Bee, testing
middle-schoolers' knowledge of maps and geography related material.
Math Counts
Kathleen DeLavergne
Math Counts is a nationwide math enrichment, coaching and competition
program.
It challenges and inspires students to further develop their problem-solving
and critical thinking skills.
Mock Trial
Lisa Schroeder
Eighth Grade students get a hands-on learning experience; this
experience can help them better understand how the legal system works
and what roles judges, lawyers, bailiffs, juries, and witnesses play
in the judicial system.
National
Junior Honor Society

NOVA
Carol Bush
Hendrick's speech competition team, including debate, public speaking,
and interpretation events, is open to all students.
Pep Squad

Hendrick Pep Squad is open to all 7th graders. Pep Squad provides support
from the stands to the cheerleaders at Football and Basketball games.

knowledge bowl in February.
