Mission Statement:
The mission of speech and language therapy at Hightower Elementary is to have each student achieve his/her greatest and most effective communicative potential in a least restrictive and highly positive environment that also meets their TEKS goals and objectives.

The Vision:
To embrace the philosophy that all persons regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, gender, or disability have the right to communicate; that communication is basic to human interaction and survival; and that communication is necessary in order for individuals to participate as members of society.

To evaluate and remediate children, in a least restrictive environment, who exhibit disorders of expressive and receptive language, voice, stuttering, articulation and pragmatics.
