All of the students and staff signed a pledge card, pledging to be drug free for Red Ribbon week.
With the help of our STOP moms and volunteers we attached the cards to the balloons.
At 1:45 we met outside as a school and released our balloons. Also included on the card was the
school email address for people to email if they found a balloon. It was amazing to watch 500
balloons fly away. What a beautiful sight!

Assemblies From Our Past
Hughston's Holiday Hoedown Assembly

December 19, 2003
"Ya'll Come Celebrate"

This year's annual holiday sing-a-long was a little different from those
in the past. We added a little western flare to the program, renaming it:
Hughston's Holiday Hoedown.
Even our Jingle Bell Rockers (as pictured above) added a western style
to their performance! Yee Ha!

What better theme for the school that's regarded as:
"Best in the west every way, every day!"
