| Hughston Elementary School Art Teacher Chris
Abbott (pictured, second from left, with Principal Luanne Collins
and Hughston students) inspired the students of Hughston Elementary
Schol to create art and write poetry and essays about America, following
the September 11 tragedy.
"Through art, students are free to express their feelings," said Ms. Abbott. "Our students are full of pride and compassion for their country." Currently on display throughout the school, the student creations made their debut the week of October 19 to coincide with Hughston's Patriotic Assembly. |
