I was born and raised in Odessa, TX.  After graduating high school, I attended Baylor University.  For graduate school I went to The University of Texas at Dallas and received my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.  In my spare time I love to travel, shop, and spend time with family and friends.

Speech therapy falls under the umbrella of special education. It is a program designed to help students who demonstrate impairments in their communication abilities. These impairments may be in the areas of articulation (actual speech sound production), language comprehension and expression, voice, and fluency.

Students who demonstrate an educational need for services, due to one of the above impairments, may be served by the school Speech-Language Pathologist.
