Welcome to Jackson Elementary!

I am very happy and proud to be the assistant principal of the Jackson Jaguars! I look forward to a wonderful and exciting school year!

I was born and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma. I hold a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

I began my career in education in the Dallas ISD where I taught 4th grade. I then worked in Carrollton- Farmers Branch ISD for 5 years where I taught 4th and 5th grade ESL and Gifted and Talented.

My husband, Charles, is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a fellow educator. He is a high school Mathematics teacher for the Dallas ISD. We also have a son Trey, who attends Jackson too!

The students, parents, and faculty at Jackson Elementary are wonderful to work with, and I look forward to coming to work each and every day!
