Welcome to Jackson Elementary!

Things may have changed on the outside, but there's the same great
Jackson Jaguar spirit on the inside! Our beautiful new building was completed in time for classes to begin in August. It has been a work in progress, but it was worth the wait.

 

Established in 1975 and named for Frank W. Jackson, our mission is to provide a supportive learning environment
which develops responsible individuals who function successfully in an ever-changing society.
We stand by our motto

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO EMERGENCY FORMS
Parents are encouraged to update and electronically sign on line
via Parent Portal*!

NO emergency forms will be mailed to parents prior to the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year. Beginning August 1st, 2011, parents will be able to update contact information, student health information, select restrictions and electronically sign their 2011-2012 Emergency Form.

*Register for the district's online Parent Portal at http://parent.mypisd.net. Parent Portal is connecting students and families by providing direct access to your student's grades and attendance, access to update your student's emergency contact information, links to classroom information and access to many other district resources.
