Jackson Elementary library is a place where the love of reading is encouraged through stories and book selections. Children are successful in locating information that assists them with learning about the world in which they live. Teachers are supported in their needs for instruction and information.

Library Information and News
Student Check Out:
  • Books are checked out for one week.
  • Books can be rechecked if the student brings the book with them to the library.
  • Kindergarten students check out one book.
  • First through fifth grade students check out two books.
  • There is an assigned check out time for each class once a week.
  • A student is welcome anytime between 7:30 and 3:15, with teacher permission, in the library.
  • If a student has an overddue book, they are not able to check out until that book is cleared.
  • If a book is lost, see the librarian for the cost of the book.
The Jackson library is fully automated for the check out and in of books. The data base for books in our library is found on three library computer PAC stations. The internet is also accessible through these computers.
