  • First Six Weeks
    Introduction and expectations of Fitness Class
    Spotsmanship and Teamwork
    Total Fitness (Health Related Fitness & Skill Related Fitness)
    Second Six Weeks
    Walking and Jogging Skills (pace, endurance, aerobic walking, warm-up & cool down)
    Introduction to various fitness equipment.
  • Third Six Weeks
    Heart (Target heart rate, calculation of heart reate, where and how to check your pulse)
    Lungs (Asthma, allergies, smoking)
  • Fourth Six Weeks
    Muscles (Endurance, strength, flexibility, smooth, skeletal, and cardiac)
    Bones (Review skeleton, sports related injuries)
  • Fifth Six Weeks
    Nutrition (Food Pyramid, burning caleries)
    Importance of Drinking Water
  • Sixth Six Weeks
    Fitness for Life
    Different fitness activities available at every age level.

Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades

  • 1st Six Weeks
    Orientation-Rules, Expectation, Class Method and Management Manipulation-bean bag and individual mats balls-kicking, trapping, and rolling; moving to music.
  • 2nd Six Weeks
    Long Jump Rope; Playground Balls-throwing and catching; Introducation to Short Jump Rope; Movement-jump and run; Parachute play
  • 3rd Six Weeks
    Throwing Skills; Tumbling, Stunts, and Amimal Movements; Basketball related skills; Movement-slide and skip.
  • 4th Six Weeks
    Continue Tumbling and Stunts; Balance Beam and Jumping boxes; Movement-hop and leap; Hula hoops; Individual rope.
  • 5th Six Weeks
    Rhythmic Movements; Movement-push and pull, bend and stretch; Throwing skills-ring and frisbee; Bowling
  • 6th Six Weeks
    Paddle and Stick skills; Field Day Activities; Sports-related games
