My name is Cathy Taylor, principal of McCall Elementary School. I am a native Texan born in Dallas. I graduated from Breckenridge High School and received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University. I received my master’s degree in Special Education and my Gifted Certification from Texas Woman’s University. My Mid-Management Certification was completed November 4, 2009 education has been in Plano ISD where I taught second, third, and fourth grades at Aldridge, Hughston, and Wells elementary schools. I also worked in the Staff DeveNovember 4, 2009 working at Mendenhall where I served as principal for eight years before moving to McCall. My name is Cindy Savant, assistant principal of McCall Elementary. It is my goal to work together with the McCall staff and parents to help develop the mind, heart and character of each child.

To let you know a little bit about my professional background, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas-Austin in 1987, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Texas in 1997, and an Administrative Certificate from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2003. This is my 20th year in education and my 13th year in Plano Independent School District. My teaching experience includes 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I come to McCall Elementary with five years experience as an administrator in PISD.

I hope that I have an opportunity to know each of you. Together we will help our students achieve their academic goals and become contributing citizens that will positively impact our great community.
