FIFTH GRADE EVENTS
-
Oh, the places you’ll
go in fifth grade! We have so many exciting places to discover.
Whether it is back in time to explore with the early settlers of
the United States or up into space to explore what was once thought
to be untouchable, fifth grade is sure to take you to new places.
-
Please refer to the
5th Grade Handbook for helpful information on homework schedules,
important dates, and procedures.
-
Agendas were issued
to each student with textbooks. Please sign your child’s
agenda nightly. Agendas are a great source of communication
between the teacher and the parent/guardian. The student’s
organizational skills are improved through the daily use of an agenda.

FIFTH GRADE'S VISIT FROM THE DISTRICT'S K-9
UNIT
| Fifth Grade had their annual visit From the District's K-9 unit. This year they were introduced to the newest member, Kaki. She is 3 years old and trained to search for narcotics and alcohol. Chara,
who is now 9, is used for sniffing out explosives. They are part of
the district's K-9 Unit with handlers Emmett Smith and Charlette
Gabriel. Both dogs are used throughout the district inspecting
buildings and parking lots alike to keep everyone safe and secure. |
