• identify story elements
• understand cause and effect relationships in a story
• utilizing the writing process

• possessives
• compare and contrast two texts

Math Skills

• telling time to the hour and half hour
• recognize name and value for penny, nickel, dime and quarter
• multiple step problem solving
• use a variety of strategies and tools to solve math problems independently
• gather data and organize it in a graph
• identify properties of geometric shapes
• sorting shapes
