KMBN - Memorial Broadcast News!

Each morning, through the district's closed-circuit broadcast system, 5th grade students present a live report of news and information for Memorial students and staff. These students complete applications for the various positions of news anchor, weather report, camera, etc. Each team serves for a nine week period. This is a great way to give the students a chance to find out what working in television is like and develop a responsibility for preparing each day. The students are required to keep their academic and citizenship grades on target and set a good example to the other students.
