| The Plano music curriculum is based on the teachings of Zoltan Kodály. Kodály was an educator, composer, philosopher, and musician who believed that every child had the right to be musically literate. By immersing children in their musical “mother tongue”, i. e. the music of their culture(s), he believed children would internalize the music. | |||||||||
