PERCUSSION CONCERT - The Plano East Spring Percussion Concert is this Saturday, May 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the Plano East Auditorium.  Tickets are only $5.00 and can be purchased through any percussion student or at the door on the day of the concert.  Please come out and support these awesome students!

ATTENTION FUTURE ACTORS, D.J.’S AND COMEDIANS:  The Golden Girls drill team is looking for great entertainers to star as emcees and in a Comedy Troupe for the 2008-2009 Spring Show.  This is a great way to show your talent to the entire school, while earning IB or National Honors Society volunteer hours.  More information will be provided in the fall!

Make sure you show all your textbooks to all your teachers who issued them.  Lost textbooks must be paid for prior to taking any exam.  Bring your textbooks to each exam; no textbook, no "on time" exam, no exceptions.

Yearbook Distribution:  The 2007-08 Panther Pride Yearbooks will be distributed on May 20 and 21st.  Distribution will take place in the gym before school (8:00), during both lunches, and after school on both days.  You will not be able to get your yearbook at any other time.  If you have already purchased a yearbook, bring your student ID.  If you have not purchased a yearbook, a limited number of extras have been ordered and will be available for purchase for $100 CASH ONLY.  If you have any questions, please come see Mrs. Cole in B1-243.

Senior girls who are interested in college sorority recruitment in
either the fall of 2008 or spring of 2009 should sign up now at the
Plano Richardson Area Panhellenic website. Sign-ups have been ongoing
since February, and the local panhellenic is looking to complete them
by the end of May. The website explains the sorority recruitment
process and advises girls on how to proceed. Girls must also sign up
for recruitment through their college panhellenic office. For

We will be celebrating our Senior Awards Program on the evening of Thursday, May 15.  This is a very special occasion when we will honor our major academic scholarship winners, the inductees into the Panther Hall of Fame, appointments to the US military academies, and the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award.  The event will be held in the Plano East cafeteria at 7:00 pm. 
We are inviting all senior students and their parents to join us that evening in honoring their classmates.  Following the ceremony, there will be a reception for all our guests.  We hope you can join us for this very special occasion.
