Unless otherwise indicated, all scholarships are for seniors only. Junior scholarships, such as we have, are located here.

Plano East PTSA 2008 Scholarship--candidate must have attended Plano East both 11th and 12th grades and be planning to attend a four year accredited college/university, two year accredited junior/community college or technical school. See Mrs. Ketter in 2125 for application. Applications must be returned to Mrs. Ketter by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.

2008 Gladys Harrington Scholarship, $1,500-open to graduating senior female students who reside within the Plano ISD boundaries. Requires an application and an essay on the topic “The Differences between Democrats and Republicans”. Deadline to be received is May 15, 2008. See Mrs. Ketter in 2125 for an application.

Plano West Rotary Club--$1,000-open to seniors who will attend a college/university or technical school. Requires 2 letters of recommendation. See Mrs. Ketter in 2125 for an application. Postmark deadline is May 15, 2008.

Texas E. “Tex” Schramm Freshman Scholarship, Presented by the men of Phi Kappa Psi-open to male seniors who will attend The University of Texas at Austin-winners will be selected based upon academics, extracurricular activities, community service and leadership. Interest in the fraternity is NOT one of the criteria applicants are evaluated on. See Mrs. Ketter in 2125 for an application. Postmark deadline is June 15, 2008.
