Latin III Honors / Pre-Advanced Placement
Prerequisite: Latin II Honors / Pre Advanced Placement

This course utilizes higher level / critical thinking skills, stresses the development of oral skills, comprehension and interpretation of Latin texts including Virgil's Aeneid, and expands the use of grammar and vocabulary. It emphasizes stylistic analyses and comprehension of literacy techniques, and accurate reading and translation of original Latin literature. The focus of this course in an intermediate proficiency in reading comprehension.
