The Panther Battalion Color Guard posts or presents the national, state, and sometimes school colors (flags), at events such as football games, pep rallies, cultural assemblies, and national holiday ceremonies. There are two teams: a female color guard and a male/co-ed color guard. The guards stand on either end of the formation, where the American flag is on the left, the Texas flag is in the middle, and if the school flag is to be used, it is on the right. The color guard attends meets and competes against other JROTC units in uniform consistency, precise movements, and drill knowledge."
