applications of derivatives
integration
transcendental functions
methods of integration

HOMEWORK: Students will have homework every night in which the students will be expected to extend the material presented in class. Homework is collected.
TESTS: There will be two exams per six weeks.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: A weekly project called a "problem session", consisting of four questions taken from previous AP exams, is assigned every week. Students generally take from one to two hours to complete the problems.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AB AND BC CALCULUS: In the two calculus courses designated by the College Board, the letters AB, BC refer to three sets of topics, the A topics which are primarily pre-calculus concepts, the B which are the integral and differential calculus and the C which include polar coordinates, sequences and series and vectors.
