Brandon Pedigo is currently in his seventh year of teaching Music Theory at Plano East Senior High. Prior to Plano East, Mr. Pedigo taught choir for one year at Vines High School and one year of beginning choir and band at Hendrick Middle School. He has also been a part of the choral department at Plano East serving at different times as the Treble Choir director, Jazz Choir (Sound Invention / ShowStoppers) director, and instrumental combo (MadHatters) director.

Mr. Pedigo is a product of the Plano Independent School District. While attending schools in Plano's east cluster, he played saxophone in the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, full orchestra, and the musical productions of West Side Story and Grease. He was co-Drum Major (coincidentally with Plano East Associate Director of Bands, Ms. Jana Harvey) during both the 1991 and 1992 football seasons. Additionally, he sang tenor in the concert choir as well as Sound Invention... singing at the Texas Music Educators Association, American Choral Directors Association, and International Association of Jazz Educators conferences.

While at the University of North Texas, Mr. Pedigo continued his well-rounded music education by straddling the often well-defined line between singers and instrumentalists as well as the line between classical and jazz music. He graduated cum laude from UNT in 1998 with a Bachelor of Music degree.
