Plano East Theatre's production of THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO won FIRST PLACE at the UIL State One Act Play Contest on Saturday, May 8. The contest was held in the Bass Performance Hall on the UT campus and the kids performed for over 2000 people and were treated to the only standing ovation of the day! Ozi Akagha was named Best Actress and also received The Samuel French Award for the Best Performance. This is just an incredible accomplishment for these talent students. Please congratulate them!
