Destination College invites all parents to attend a panel discussion regarding the college experience on October 16th. Parent Panel Dessert and Coffee will be hosted at Collin College Conference Center and the topics discussed will include what to expect as a new college parent. A variety of current university and college parents will share experiences and advice. RSVP to destinationcollege@ccccd.edu

Tickets for Plano East Homecoming Dance:
Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, October 6, and will be sold in the cafeteria during both lunches until Thursday, October 16. Tickets are $25 each ($50 per couple) if purchased at school. After lunch on October 16, tickets may be purchased at the door of the dance for $30 each ($60 per couple). Tickets will be sold on a CASH ONLY basis. Checks WILL NOT be accepted either at school or at the door of the dance. The dance will be held at Southfork Ranch on Saturday, October 18, from 9:00 p.m. until 12 Midnight.
The 2008 Homecoming Parade is coming up, so mark your calendars for
October 15th! The Parade will begin at 6:00 pm in the Bob Woodruff Parking
Lot and finish in the Panther Circle. Come see the Homecoming Court, watch
the amazing floats put together by Plano East organizations, and get free
candy! After the parade, don't forget to attend the annual bonfire hosted
by the Plano East Senior Class officers!
Going on a College Visit?
If you are planning to visit a college or university and will miss school, be sure to get a College Visitation Form from the counseling office or your sub-school BEFORE your visit. Forms must be signed by your counselor and sub-school principal prior to your visit and then signed and stamped by a college official on the day of your visit. Turn the form into your sub-school within 3 days of your return to school so that your absences are excused.
