Academic Decathalon
AcDec is a team competition wherein students match their intellects with students from other schools. Students are tested in ten categories:
Art, Economics, Essay, Interview, Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Speech, and Super Quiz
Gold,
Silver and Bronze medals are awarded for individual events
and total scores. Winning teams advance through the local,
regional, and state levels of competition.
Requirements/Fees
There are no membership fees and all students are invited
to join. There is an interview and try out process to be
a member of the team.
Meetings
Members meet during ACDEC class and after school as needed.
