Welcome to Plano ISD’s Internet Broadcast Station. We appreciate your time and welcome your support as we try to find innovative ways to support and showcase our students.

After live broadcast times became increasingly harder and more expensive to find, WCAT was created to fill that need. With a year of planning and creating by the districts technology department, Internet broadcast began on a limited basis during the 2003-04 school year. This year we will look for ways to expand production and broadcast with the support from the community. Broadcasting is now possible from both PISD stadiums and all three senior high gyms.

We hope to show that a PISD broadcast is not just viable, but self-supporting venture. Please tune-in to listen to Bryan Sutcliffe, and Matt Cone as they bring you Wildcats, Panthers and Wolves play by play throughout the year. They are also supported by statistician, Larry Wesseman, sound board operator and web designer, Tina Cone.

We would like to say “thank you” to PSHS Principal Dr. Doyle Dean, Superintendent Dr. Doug Otto, Deputy Superintendent Danny Modisette, and Associate Superintendent Jim Hirsch for their support. We would also like to say “thank you” to Scott Tucker and David Vincent whose technological expertise has made the broadcast possible.
