| March was Math Madness at Saigling Elementary! |

| Saigling
students turn Mrs. Spickler's hair the school colors! |
|
| Principal, Mrs. Spickler, challenged all Saigling students to master grade specific math facts throughout the month of March. In return for mastering their facts, she agreed to paint her hair the school colors, blue and yellow. Students rose to the challenge by creating flash cards, playing math games and using free time to practice. Mrs. Spickler kept close tabs on their progress as each grade demonstrated their math knowledge. |

promised, on April 2, 2004, Mrs. Spickler's hair was painted the
school colors by the Office Manager, Mrs. West, and fifth grade
teacher, Mrs. Thompson, during a school
wide assembly. |
