Our world has become increasingly reliant on technology, and Plano has been at the forefront of incorporating it into regular classroom use. This includes everything from classroom computers, network logins, scanners, digital cameras, and projectors to name a few. This requires not only educating our teachers and students on how to use and incorporate it, but a responsive network to maintain and constantly upgrade to stay as current as possible.

Each grade level is outfitted with seven computers per classroom as well as a teacher computer, a TV/VCR unit, and the ability to stream videos to their TV straight from the computer. The workstations are internet ready (and filtered), allowing a vast amount of information at the students fingertips. As a result, the students' constant exposure to technology enables a high level of computer literacy as it is incorporated into their daily routine.
