Mrs. Ross has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oklahoma. She began her teaching career in 1972 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She stayed home for eleven years while raising her two children and returned to teaching in 1996. She enjoys sports and playing with her grandchild during her free time.

Mrs. Stigers graduated from Lubbock Christian University in December 2000 with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She began her teaching as a second grade teacher in DeSoto ISD in 2001. She's has been teaching at Stinson since 2003. She recently earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UNT with a specialization in Reading.

Cathy Gibson email: Cathy.Gibson@pisd.edu

Mrs. Gibson attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Gibson has taught first grade, second grade, resource oriented classes, enrichment based classes, as well as summer school. Throughout the years she has had the opportunity to serve as a second grade team leader, mentor, supervising teacher and served on numerous committees.

Jordan Heersink email: Jordan.Heersink@pisd.edu

Mrs. Heersink is originally from Oklahoma. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication. She later received her teacher's certification in Early Childhood through 4th grade. She began her teaching career in 2004 at Connally ISD in Waco, Texas, teaching Pre-K. She moved to Plano and joined the Stinson staff in 2005 where she has taught Kindergarten and First grades. She loves teaching and enjoys spending time with her family and friends during her free time.

Mrs. Linnenkugel received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and has since taught first and second grades. Joining the Stinson staff in 2005, Mrs. Linnenkugel is certified to teach Elementary Education K-6, ESL, and has completed the District's PACE Teacher training. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, reading and traveling. Mrs. Linnenkugel is very excited to be in first grade and looking forward to a great 2009- 2010 school year.

Ms. Nixon received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Women's University. She began her teaching career at Stinson in 2005. She taught Kindergarten for two years before becoming a First grade teacher. She enjoys going to her son's sporting events, reading and traveling.
